50th ANNIVERSARY OF ASEAN RECEPTION

On 27 September 2017, the Embassy of Malaysia in Muscat joined the diplomatic missions of ASEAN member countries in the Sultanate of Oman (Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand) in celebrating the 50^th Anniversary of ASEAN at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Muscat. H.E. Dr. Ali bin Mas’oud bin Ali Al-Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry, attended the occasion as the Guest of Honour accompanied by other VIP guests from the State Council, the Shura Council and senior government officials. The event was highlighted by various cultural performances showcasing the diversity of the Southeast Asia region.
