On 10 February 2017, the Malaysian community in Muscat gathered at the Recreational Club, Royal Hospital, Muscat, Oman, in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration. The ceremony was officiated by H.E. Shahril Effendi Abdul Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Sultanate of Oman. The fun-filled gathering was attended by all Malaysians of different races and religions reflecting the diverse ethnicity in Malaysia living together in harmony and peace. May the Year of the Rooster bring health and prosperity to all.
