Consular Notice No. 2
To All Stranded Malaysians in Muscat,
Following today’s consular visits, the Embassy would like to provide the following updates:
(i)Qatar Airways has extended the hotel stay until tomorrow;
(ii) Flights for tomorrow to your respective destinations remain subject to final confirmation by the airlines;
(iii) Some might choose to arrange their own flights to Malaysia / other destinations. If you are considering this option, please ensure to check transit visa requirements, as processing may take several days for certain countries before purchasing your tickets;
(iv) Where possible, we encourage Malaysians to follow their airline arrangements to avoid complications; and
(v) Please ensure that your passports and other important documents are readily accessible.
