On 8 February 2026, CDA a.i. Mr Nur Misuari Harun accompanied the IIUM delegation led by its Rector, YBhg. Prof. Emeritus Datuk Dr. Osman, on a courtesy call to the Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, H.E. Mohammed bin Said bin Khalfan Al Mamari. The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on strengthening academic cooperation and advancing collaboration in higher education.
