On 20 March 2017, TYT Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Sultanate of Oman, called on H.E. Dr. Yahya bin Manfoodh bin Salim Al Manthri, Chairman of State Council. Efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Malaysia and Oman in various fields, particularly in economy, trade and investment were discussed during the call.
