On 8 May 2017, TYT Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Sultanate of Oman, called on H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs. In the meeting, both reiterated the importance to further strengthen relations between Malaysia and Oman in the area of defence.
