On 26 June 2017, the first day of Syawal, H.E. Shahril Effendi Abd. Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Sultanate of Oman, hosted a Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at the official residence. Visitors were feted with various types of traditional food including rendang, ayam masak merah, kuah kacang, lodeh and nasi impit.
