His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Rustam Yahaya, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Sultanate of Oman and YBhg Assoc. Prof. Dr. Musrifah Sapardi Rustam have hosted an open house/housewarming event at their new official residence “Rumah Malaysia”, located at Qurum 29, Muscat. The event that was held on 23 February 2012 was to introduce to all Malaysians residing in Oman of the new residence, as well as for Malaysian community in Oman to continue meeting up and interact with each other. Around 200 Malaysians attended the event.
During the event, the guests were treated with sumptuous dinner. The guests were also entertained by the traditional dance performances by the cultural troupe from Istana Budaya, who were in Muscat as participants in the ASEAN Cultural Show in conjunction with Muscat Festival 2012.
