On 10 June 2017, fellow Malaysians of all races gathered for an Iftar at the Embassy of Malaysia, Muscat. A Ramadan tazkirah was also delivered by Ustaz Zamerey bin Abd Razak of Akademi Imam Syafie, before the breaking of fast. The event, which was organised in collaboration with Majlis Ilmu Muscat, saw the participation of more than 100 Malaysians and family members in a spirit of friendly good-fellowship to celebrate the month of Ramadan.
