The Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC), under the patronage of Ministry of Health of Malaysia, will be taking part in the 2nd International Medical Tourism, Equipments, Technology Exhibition & Conference 2014 (IMTEC) at the Oman International Exhibition Center starting from 15 to 17 April 2014. The event organised by the Ministry of Health Oman will provide a solid platform for MHTC to showcase the healthcare travel edge that Malaysia has to offer over neighbouring countries in the region.
The MHTC booth will be manned by senior officials from MHTC as well as representatives from renowned private hospitals in Malaysia namely, National Heart Institute of Malaysia, KPJ Healthcare Berhad and Pantai Hospitals Group as well as travel agents from established travel agencies in Malaysia which offer competitive travel packages.
In conjunction with the visit, MHTC will also organise side line events such as the “Malaysian Medical Tourism Seminar” for insurance companies and local travel agencies for business matching opportunities and “Media Evening with Malaysia Healthcare” especially to establish good rapport with the local media. The general public are invited and greatly welcomed to visit the MHTC booth and seek free medical consultation from doctors of participating hospitals whom will be at hand to answer questions with regards to medical and healthcare issues.
