Oman Foreign Minister receives copy of credentials from envoy of Malaysia

MUSCAT — Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, received here yesterday a copy of the credentials of Dr Younis Salim Al Ogaili Basha, appointed as the resident ambassador of the Libyan Arab Socialist Republic to the Sultanate.

He also received a copy of the credentials of Dato’ Mohd. Zamri bin Mohd. Kassim as Malaysia’s appointed ambassador to the Sultanate.

During the two meetings Alawi stressed the keenness of the Sultanate’s government to develop cooperation with Libya and Malaysia in various spheres in the interest of the three countries and their peoples.

Nasir bin Khalfan Al Kharousi, head of protocols department and officials at the Foreign Ministry, attended the meetings.
