PERWAKILAN Muscat Organizes Stress Management Workshop

A Stress Management Workshop was organised by PERWAKILAN Muscat for its members and invited guests from the ASEAN Ladies’ Circle in Muscat (ALC). The talk was given by Ms. Sheila Menon, a Malaysian trainer and educator attached with Al Moug Training, a renowned training consultant in the Sultanate of Oman. Attended by more than 30 guests, the 1 hour and 30 minutes workshop  were well received by all present whom were eager to know the symptoms of stress and how to effectively manage in our daily lives.

 

Aside from giving talks, Ms. Sheila welcomed the audience to share their experiences which made the workshop more interactive and interesting. Some practical and easy activities were also conducted as means to reduce stress and to live a happy life. Laughters were abundant during the workshop as Ms. Shelila stressed that laughter is indeed the best medicine. The workshop did wonders to all the ALC patrons and its members as well as to the PERWAKILAN ladies as they were all smiling throughout the workshop and even after the event.

 

All those present at the workshop had more reasons to smile and spoilt for choice with the spread of Malaysian dishes served for refreshments. Among the dishes to choose from are Nasi Kerabu, Ayam Percik, Soto Ayam, Rojak Sotong Kangkung. Traditional Malay delicacies or kueh were also on the vast spread that morning prepared by members of PERWAKILAN Muscat such as kuih koci, ondeh-ondeh, kuih lapis, dodol , tapai pulut, karipap ,kuih tahi minyak and  chicken pao  as well as many others.

 

The event ended on a high note with YBhg. Datin Dr. Musrifah Sapardi, President of PERWAKILAN Muscat,  thanking everyone for their kind presence and active participation in the workshop. YBhg. Datin also presented a certificate of appreciation to Ms. Sheila Menon, whom is also a PERWAKILAN member, for holding the workshop free of charge and hope that many more Malaysians with  skills and expertise to come forward and contribute back to the society in general and especially to members of PERWAKILAN Muscat.
