Colourful traditional dresses, attractive exhibitions and delicious cuisines were on display reflecting the diversity of cultures at the International Day 2019 organised by The American International School of Muscat (TAISM) on Friday, 1 March 2019. This annual fund-raising event brought the TAISM community together in celebrating its racially and culturally diverse backgrounds.
Food stalls at the event offered various scrumptious dishes representing countries like Canada, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Holland, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Spain, South Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States.
For the third consecutive year, the Embassy of Malaysia in Muscat put up a colourful booth serving a variety of local Malaysian dishes and snacks including sate ayam, laksa Sarawak, nasi lemak, seri muka, jemput-jemput pisang and aiskrim Malaysia.
