Please be advised that Malaysians crossing the border into Oman from Yemen require the approval of Omani local authorities. The request for entry into Oman should be made through the Embassy of Malaysia in Muscat, Oman, at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of travel. Failure to comply with the procedure may result in unnecessary delays at the border of Oman. The procedure is only applicable to those travelling by road from Yemen into Oman. Malaysians are advised to adhere to local procedures when entering and exiting the country.
