Karachi: The Pakistan Edible Oil Refiners Association (PEORA) in collaboration with Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Association (FOSFA) organised a two-day seminar on PEORA/FOSFA Trade on 11-12 December 2012. CG Abu Bakar Mamat said in his remark that the convening of the seminar is a laudable effort on the part of organisers to bring together regulators, strategic thinkers and captains of industry to engineer interaction and debates on daily household and commercial edible oil.
74% of Pakistan's palm oil requirement is sourced from Malaysia with over US 1.5 billion worth of palm oil trade recorded from January to November 2012.
