Karachi, 14 March: The Consulate General of Malaysia, in partnership with Tourism Malaysia, celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix by giving away 100 complimentary grandstand tickets to Formula 1 enthusiats in Pakistan. The Consulate launches various campaigns, which include a two-week radio programme competition, corporate tours to the F1 event and a media Mega Fam Programme to showcase Malaysia as a destination for prestigious world-class events.
79,989 Pakistani tourists travelled to Malaysia in 2012, an increase of 9.5% from 73,046 arrivals recorded in 2011.
