The Consul General and Madam Aniza Khalid hosted a farewell dinner in honour of His Excellency Joompol Manaschuang, the Consul General of Thailand and Madam Patama, on 29th December 2009 at an exclusive club in DHA, Karachi. H.E Joompol who is also the Dean of ASEAN Karachi had served in Karachi for the last 4 years and is due to leave in January of 2010 for his new assignment. The farewell dinner was also attended by close colleagues of H.E Joompol i.e. Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Consul General of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Acting Consul General of Indonesia and Commercial Counsellor of Vietnam and their spouses.
