On Monday, 23rd November 2009, Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak, Consul General of Malaysia hosted an informal ASEAN Heads of Mission Meeting which was held at the Consulate General of Malaysia, Karachi. The meeting was participated by all ASEAN Consul Generals/Head of Mission comprising Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
The agenda of the meeting was to discuss ASEAN affairs in Karachi, current security situation in Karachi and related matters. The ASEAN Heads of Mission and their spouses later in the evening met for a get-together at a recreation club in Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Karachi. The meeting was very fruitful with all had a detailed and interactive discussion on matters of mutual interests especially on the ongoing security situation in Pakistan.
