Karachi: The Consulate General of Malaysia organised Meet Clients Day on 5 December 2012. While providing a platform for clients to learn more on the services rendered by the Consulate, we are also encouraged with the business networking forged during the event. Sixty travel and airline representatives attended the opening ceremony, where Consul General Abu Bakar Mamat presented awards to the top three travel operators for their efforts in promoting Malaysia as travel destination. Pakistan remains an important market to Malaysia with an increase of 29.2% (41,595) tourist arrival registered during the first half of 2012 compared to the same period recorded in 2011 (32,188).
