APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF GOOD CONDUCT
Please be informed that starting July 1st 2013, application for the Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) must be submitted online and the processing time for the certificate is one to two months from the date of submission. This is a new regulation set by the Royal Malaysian Police.
How to apply: - Go to http://www.kln.gov.my >> Online Services >> e-Consular >> System Login. Kindly review the guidelines on the application procedure.
Status of application can be viewed from the e-Consular system under the Check Status / Update.
For application with the status CERTIFICATE IS READY FOR COLLECTION: Collection of approved CGC can be made from the Consular Service Counter in Putrajaya, Sabah, Sarawak or Malaysian Missions abroad.
Applications without sufficient supporting documents will not be entertained.
Applicant who wishes to collect the CGC at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Davao City is required to bring along the following documents:
ATTESTATION OF MALAYSIAN DOCUMENTS
The applicant must be present at the Consulate General of Malaysia, Davao City for the purpose of attestation.
Applications without sufficient supporting documents will not be entertained.

LEGALIZATION OF THE PHILIPPINES’ DOCUMENTS
The Philippines’ documents to be legalized have to be certified by the Department of Foreign Affairs Mindanao (DFA) before can be further legalized by the Consulate General of Malaysia.
The applicant must be present at the Consulate General of Malaysia, Davao City for the purpose of legalization.
The processing time for application is three (3) business days after the receiving date by the Consulate General of Malaysia, Davao City. The submission of the documents must be done only on Monday (except Public Holiday).
Applications without sufficient supporting documents will not be entertained.
Please bring/submit the following:

The applicant must be a Malaysian citizen.
The applicant must be present during the application.
