The Malaysian Association of Papua New Guinea has organized for the 8th consecutive year the MBC Charity Golf held on 30 May 2008. The annual event has attracted 111 sponsors. The presentation night was held the next day at the Grand Palace Restaurant where highly valued items were also auctioned. The annual golf tournament has raised the amount of Kina 300,000 with Port Moresby General Hospital received the highest recipient of USD 50,000 and the rest of the money given to other charities organizations in Papua New Guinea.
