On 13 May 2026, Ambassador of Malaysia participated in the 15th Session of the ICESCO General Conference in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russian Federation & delivered Malaysia’s statement on behalf of YB Fadhlina Sidek, Minister of Education Malaysia. Malaysia reaffirmed its strong support for ICESCO’s Strategic Plan 2026–2029 and highlighted the importance of education as the foundation for sustainable development, social progress & economic prosperity.
