Malaysian Students from the Moscow Medical Academy poses for a group shot after the convocation ceremony
352 Malaysian Students graduated from various Russian higher learning institutions in July 2009 after completing their 6-year medical programme. The graduation ceremonies which were held during the end of June until middle of July saw the largest number of Malaysian students graduating from Russia since Malaysian students started to enroll into Russian institutions in the early 2000s.
Kursk State Medical University (KSMU) saw the largest number of graduates at 110, followed by 81 graduates from Moscow Medical Academy (MMA), 72 graduates from Volgograd State Medical University (VSMU), 51 graduates from Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy (NNSMA) and 38 graduates from Russian State Medical University (RSMU).
Embassy officials were present at all ceremonies to congratulate and honour the graduating class involving Malaysian students.
