ASEAN Moscow Committee (AMC) organised the 49th ASEAN Day Reception on 8 August 2016 at the Embassy of Lao PDR. The reception was attended by H.E. Mr. Alexander Ivanov, Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation as Guest of Honour together with other Russian dignitaries and ASEAN Ambassadors. H.E. Mr. Ivanov, in his speech, expressed Russia’s satisfaction with numerous achievements of ASEAN in terms of political, economic and culture since its establishment. He also stressed that Russia has always given priority to the cooperation with ASEAN to enhance trade growth, investment and tourism as well as to promote peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific Region.
