Moscow, 17 September 2018 – Ambassador Datuk Mat Dris Haji Yaacob hosted a reception to commemorate the 61st Anniversary of the Independence Day of Malaysia and the 55th Malaysia Day at the Embassy, today. The event was attended by senior government office officials of the Russian Federation, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international and regional organizations as well as friends of Malaysia.
In his remarks, HE. Ambassador Datuk Mat Dris Haji Yaacob touched on Malaysia-Russia bilateral relations and the efforts being undertaken to promote bilateral as well as economic and trade relations between both countries. He expressed confidence that both countries would be able to harness the full potential to enhance bilateral relations.
The invitees were served with authentic and homemade Malaysia foods prepared by the Malaysian Ladies Association in Moscow (PERWAKILAN Moscow)
