Moscow, 26 Nov 2017 - The Embassy of Malaysia, Moscow participated in the Malaysian Inter-Moscow Games 2017 at the Russian National Research Medical University Sports Complex today. The event was organized by the Russian National Research Medical University Malaysian Students Association (RMSA) in collaboration with Kelab Umno Luar Negara, Moscow and Persatuan Perubatan Islam, Moscow.
The Games is an annual sport event organized by student associations in Moscow and participated by Malaysian students residing in the City. Four (4) Teams from Sechenov University, Moscow Aviation Institute, Russian National Research Medical University and the Malaysian Embassy competing in 10 types of event aimed to encourage healthy lifestyle beside enhancing sports and nurturing capability of organizing an event as well as confidence building.
HE Ambassador officiated the event and spent his time to support participating teams. The Embassy won 4 Bronze Medal in Volleyball (Male & Female), Futsal (Female) and Table Tennis.
The Embassy also took the opportunity to put up Consular Services Counter for students to register as overseas voters for the upcoming GE and consult Embassy's Consular Officer on consular matters.
