The ASEAN Friendly Badminton Competition was held on 20 November 2016 at the Potapovskiy Sport Complex. The tournament which was participated by officers, staff and family members of the ASEAN Embassies in Moscow was organised under the umbrella of the ASEAN Moscow Committee (AMC). The tournament was divided into three (3) Categories namely, Men’s Double for Advance Player, Men’s Double for Beginner Player as well as Women’s Double and each team consists of players from different ASEAN Countries. The tournament provided an opportunity for ASEAN Community to strengthen their friendship as well as to promote Badminton sports in Russia.
Malaysian Players won the First place in Women’s Double as well as Second, Third and Fourth place in Men’s Double for Advance Player.
