The Nusantara Society has organised an event to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of Asian and African Studies, Moscow State University on 2 March 2016. The event was celebrated with the show of Hang Tuah Movie as well as performance of Malay Song and Poem by the Russian Students. The event which revealed the deep enthusiasm of Russian students in learning Bahasa Melayu and about Malaysia, has been an effective platform to enhance people-to-people contacts between Malaysia and Russia. The event was attended by H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Hayati Binti Ismail, Embassy’s Officials and Malaysian students studying in Russia.
