Moscow, 24 January 2018 – His Excellency Ambassador Datuk Mat Dris Haji Yaacob received a courtesy call from Dr. Vladimir N. Sautov, Chairman of Russia’s Business Council for Cooperation with Malaysia (BCCM) and Ambassador Vladimir Morozov, Deputy Chairman of BCCM at the Embassy.
During the discussion, Dr. Vladimir N. Sautov conveyed to H.E. Ambassador the interest of BCCM to explore more business and investment opportunities between Malaysia and Russia. He has also expressed hope to promote Malaysia as regional hub for ASEAN to Russian investors and businessmen, by providing dan facilitating direct contacts, dialogues and information exchange between business leaders of both countries. Other collaborations would also include organizing seminars, roundtables discussion and conferences in Russia and Malaysia in order to promote trade and investment.
In his remarks, H.E. Ambassador expressed his desire to see more business cooperation and trade exchanges between both countries and assured him of the continuous support of the Embassy to facilitate similar arrangements.
