Moscow, 28 Nov 2017- HE Ambassador Datuk Mat Dris Haji Yaacob, Malaysian Ambassador to the Russian Federation received a courtesy call from Mr. Linar Yakupov, President of the Association of Regional Investment Agencies in Russia at the Embassy. Mr. Linar Yakupov is also currently the President of Islamic Business Development Fund and founder of Kazan Summit, which was established in 2009 under the patronage of the government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The exchanges of views between the two sides focused mainly on how to explore untapped potential trade cooperation and investment opportunities in Russia, particularly in the Republic of Tatarstan. Several other issues were also discussed during the call which lasted for about 45 minutes.
