On 6 May 2026, TYT Dato' Ambassador received Dr. Hazami Jahari, Director-General of DBP at the Embassy. Both sides exchanged views on efforts to introduce and promote the Malay language in Russia. The discussion also formed part of the preparations in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of Malaysia–Russia diplomatic relations next year. The Embassy will also work closely with DBP to further promote the Malay language and organise related programmes and initiatives in Russia.
