On 16 November 2010, the Embassy of Malaysia in Moscow celebrated Hari Raya Aidiladha with a sense of gratitude and the spirit of sacrifice. Almost 300 Malaysians, including students and the staff of the Embassy in the Russian Federation were gathered in the Embassy to perform Solat Sunat Aidiladha and attend the Aidiladha feast. H.E. Dato’ Zainol Abidin delivered a speech on the special occasion and conveyed his advice to students specifically on the importance and the meaning of sacrifice in achieving a blessed life from Allah s.w.t.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Moscow is scheduled to hold a sacrificial slaughter Ibadah Korban on 19 November 2010 to commemorate Hari Raya Aidiladha. Three (3) bulls will be sacrificed for this year’s Qurban Bayram and the meat will be distributed to Muslim students in Moscow.
