MALAWAKIL MOSCOW HOSTED THE ASEAN DARTS TOURNAMENT 2012
Malawakil Moscow hosted the ASEAN Darts Tournament 2012 at the Embassy’s premise on 6th October 2012. This year Malawakil Moscow had again taken the lead in organizing the annual ASEAN Games in Moscow, one of the important activities organized by the ASEAN Moscow Committee (AMC). Approximately 150 members of the ASEAN community, namely the ASEAN Ambassadors, Embassies staff and family members participated in this year’s event. Through this activity ASEAN Diplomats serving in Moscow had the opportunity to meet one another and exchange views in an informal environment.
YBhg. Dato’ Zainol Abidin Omar and YBhg. Datin Rusamelia Rusland won the first prize under the Super Series category for the Heads of Mission while His Excellency Ambassador of Laos and his spouse were the runner-ups. The tournament was conducted in a very friendly and relax atmosphere. Apart from the darts competition, all guests were treated to a variety of ASEAN cuisines prepared by Malawakil Moscow and the other ASEAN Embassies. In addition to the darts tournament, the ASEAN Moscow Committee is planning to organize other games such as bowling, table tennis, badminton, volley ball and petanque in the near future.
