Tan Sri Halim and the delegation with Embassy staff
The Embassy of Malaysia welcomed Tan Sri Halim Ali, ex-Chief Secretary General of Malaysia and his delegation of former high-ranking Malaysian Government officials on 27 June 2009. Tan Sri Halim and his 31-member delegation, who are currently on a private visit to Russia, took the opportunity to
stop by and touch base with the Embassy staff in Moscow.
Tan Sri Halim, a career diplomat, was appointed the Chief Secretary of Malaysia, which is the highest post for a Government Officer, from 17 September 1996 until 31 January 2001.
