On 11 Feb 2026, TYT Dato' Ambassador participated in a meeting between the Federal Assembly of Russia & the Malaysian Parliament, at the State Duma, Moscow. The talks strengthened Malaysia - Russia relations, spotlighted the power of parliamentary diplomacy, and forged new avenues for partnership.
The Malaysian delegation, participating virtually, was led by YB Dato’ Dr. Ramli bin Dato’ Mohd Nor, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, while the Russian delegation was led by H.E. Kara-ool Sholban Valerievich, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma.
