YB Senator SA Vigneswaran, President of the Senate Malaysia undertook an official visit to Russia on 21-24 September 2016. During the visit, YB Senator SA Vigneswaran met his counterpart, H.E. Valentina Matviyenko, Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. The meeting discussed issues of common concern between both countries. He also took the opportunity to meet with Malaysian students studying in Moscow during the visit.
