As in the previous years, PERWAKILAN or the Women's Association of the Embassy of Malaysia participated in the year-end International Women's Club (IWC) Winter Bazaar held on 28 November 2009 at the Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya Hotel. The Bazaar, which is an annual programme organized by the IWC aims at finding funds to support several charities in Moscow particularly those involving children and women.
PERWAKILAN Moscow under the leadership of Datin Saripah Jaafar prepared and sold Malaysian delicacies such as delicious Nasi Lemak with Prawn Sambal to the visiting public which comprised of Moscovites and those from the expat community. Unique Malaysian items such batik kaftans that were available at the Malaysian booth also caught the eye of those coming to the bazaar to find interesting and exotic items sold by Embassies that took part in the Bazaar.

In addition to the Malaysian food and products on sale at the Bazaar, PERWAKILAN Moscow with the assistance and cooperation of Tourism Malaysia Moscow took the opportunity of the event to promote Malaysia and the beauty of Malaysia culture by performing several traditional dance routines for the entertainment of those attending the Bazaar.
At the end of the Bazaar, Datin Saripah on behalf PERWAKILAN Moscow presented Malaysia's contribution of more than Rub 10,000 to the IWC Committee.
