On 11 Mar 2025, TYT Dato' Cheong LL presented his credentials to the Belarussian President Aleksandr Lukashenko at the Independence Palace in Minsk.
In his address to the 9 new Ambassadors to Belarus, President Lukashenko remarked Malaysia as a promising partner in SEA & wished Malaysia, a successful chairmanship in ASEAN2025.
