On 18 November 2025, TYT Dato' Cheong Leong Lai presented his credentials to the His Excellency Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the Republic of Armenia at the Presidential Palace in Yerevan.
President Khachaturyan congratulated TYT Dato’ and noted the friendly relation between Malaysia and Armenia, with a great potential for development.
