Minsk, 15 January 2018 – His Excellency Ambassador Datuk Mat Dris Haji Yaacob presented the copies of his Credential Letters to His Excellency Dr. Andrei Dapkiunus, Deputy Foreign Minister (DFM) of the Republic of Belarus at the latter’s office in Minsk. H.E. Dr. Andrei Dapkiunus congratulated and welcomed H.E. Ambassador Datuk Mat Dris to the Republic of Belarus and wished him success in his mission as the new Malaysian Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus residing in Moscow.
H.E. Dr. Andrei Dapkiunus expressed hope that both Malaysia and the Republic of Belarus could find new momentums to elevate the existing bilateral relations to a new height. While agreeing with the Belarus DFM, Datuk Mat Dris said that it is imperative for both sides to review pending MOUs/Agreements, with the view to prioritize and focus on its conclusion and bring into realization, those feasible and workable frameworks. Such effort will not only facilitate and open up opportunities but will gradually create substantial volume of bilateral cooperation between both countries.
