On 2nd April 2013, the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Prof. Datuk Syed Omar Al Saggaf paid courtesy calls on the two newly appointed Saudi Princes, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Bin Bandar Bin Abdul-Aziz - as the Governor and Deputy Governor of the Riyadh City, and His Royal Highness Prince Turki Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz - as the Deputy Governor of the Riyadh City.
On behalf of the Government of Malaysia, H.E. Prof. Datuk Syed Omar congratulated the Princes on the new appointments. Both sides discussed on overall issues pertaining to Malaysia-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations, while reaffirming the importance of existing cordial relations and to work progressively towards enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
H.E. Prof. Datuk Syed Omar expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the Princes’continuous support and wished them all the best intheir future endeavor.
