Eidil Fitri marks the end of a holy month of Ramadhan and it is a time of self-reflection focusing on the values that Muslims and peoples of all faiths share - charity, community and teamwork. Therefore, on 24 September 2011 (Saturday) the Embassy of Malaysia, Riyadh hosted the tradition of Open House to celebrate Eidil Fitri at the Ambassador’s Residence in Diplomatic Quarter. The event was attended by Malaysians and local friends. The sumptuous traditional Eid cuisine, such as rendang, ketupat, nasi ayam, kuih muih was prepared by the Malaysian Ladies Association.Over 300 Malaysians including the Embassy staff, students and professionals gathered at the Residence to celebrate the festival. |
