On 19 May 2025, YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, met with H.E. Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, to focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation in investment and trade, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The discussion explored potential collaboration across various sectors, including Islamic finance, halal industries, renewable energy, construction, hospitality, and technology. The meeting underscored the shared commitment to exploring new opportunities and further strengthening existing economic ties for mutual benefit. YB was accompanied by H.E. Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, Malaysia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, and the official delegation.
