YB Datuk Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation met with Malaysian students during his working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 16 April 2012. "Majlis Ramah Mesra" which lasted for three hours, addressed the latest developments in Malaysia, and achievements of the bilateral relations between Malaysia – Saudi Arabia in Science and Technology. He also outlined his vision and expectations on scientific research and advance technology for the upcoming period.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H.E. Prof. Datuk Syed Omar Al Saggaf, the Deputy Minister spoke about the importance of education for Malaysia in reaching the status of a developed nation. He then spent time talking with the students and listened to the views of our students studying in the University Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud and University King Saud. At the End of the meeting, the Deputy Minister thanked the Malaysian Embassy and Ambassador Syed Omar for the warm hospitality and for all the arrangements during his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
