On 20 May 2025, YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, held an important meeting with H.E. Bandar Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, in Riyadh. The discussions focused on strategic opportunities, including collaboration under Saudi Vision 2030 for sustainable growth, strengthening Malaysia–Saudi Arabia trade and economic relations, and exploring potential partnerships across various sectors such as renewable energy, technology, and the halal industry. YB was accompanied by H.E. Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, Malaysia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, and the official delegation.
