Iftar 2021
The Embassy was able to host a very limited gathering of staff and Malaysians in Dakar for Iftar, on 23 April 2021. The new Chancery grounds provided the ideal setting for this ‘family gathering’ and the cool breeze from the sea ensured that all guests were comfortable mingling and partaking of their Ndogou out on the lawn.
As in previous years, M. Bathily led the faithful in Maghrib, Isya’ and Terawih prayers, and guests were seen happily eating the Malaysian cuisine lovingly prepared by the ladies of the Embassy.
