6th JDS WG and 4th JDS SOM, 24-25 June, Bangkok

Malaysia and Thailand will convene the 6th Joint Development Strategy For Border Areas Working Group Meeting  (JDS WG) on 24 June 2008 and the 4th Joint Development Strategy For Border Areas Senior Officials Meeting  (JDS SOM) on 25 June 2008.

The 4th JDS SOM will be co-chaired by Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Rastam Mohd Isa, Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia together with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, HE Virasakdi Futrakul on 25 June. Preceeding that, Deputy Director General of the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Y.Bhg. Dato' Dr. Ali Hamsa will co-chair the JDS WG on 24 June together with HE Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Deputy Secretary General of Thailand's Natinal Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB).
