In conjunction with the celebration of 40th anniversary of Ramkhamhaeng University, a special conference was organised to mark the event where the university had invited representatives from few ASEAN Embassies to present their perspectives on the role of higher education for ASEAN Community.
Dato’ Nazirah Hussain presented Malaysia’s views by highlighting various aspects of higher education in Malaysia and the challenges that await ASEAN as a community. Few recommendations were put forward on how to make higher education in ASEAN more competitive and ways to produce graduates with higher degree of employability in the future.
