The Malaysian Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin and Thailand’s Sports Minister Kobkarn Wattanavrangku, together with H.E. Dato' Nazirah Binti Hussain, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand and Embassy officials participated in The Rising Together Baton Run, in celebration of Malaysia hosting the 2017 Sea Games and Asean Para Games, in Bangkok on 1 April 2017. A total of 5,000 participants competed and braved the light shower in the early morning run, starting from the Hua Mark Indoor Stadium.
