28 April 2025 - His Excellency Sazali Mustafa Kamal, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Türkiye met Mr. Ahmet Turkoglu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Turkish Petroleum in Ankara to discuss potential collaboration in the field of hydrocarbon exploration, drilling and energy transition.
Malaysia and Türkiye recognised the importance of energy security and encouraged the role of private sector in strengthening cooperation in the areas of energy security and energy transition.
